Services
We are a church that sees itself as a place where God is at work in many exciting ways. We do consider Sunday the focus of all our activities, where we come together to encourage one another and to thank God for all He has done for us.
Our family and worship service is every Sunday from 10:00am to 11:30am. It is a friendly, relaxed service which involves singing (both traditional and contemporary), communion, teaching from the Bible and other various activities to encourage us in our Christian lives. We work hard to keep our teaching relevant and practical and, as with all our ministries, founded on the Bible.
Creche and Kids ministries operate too.
A supervised free creche throughout the year (except during Christmas School Holidays) is available for small children during the service, and we have a separate room for parents with babies. During school terms, our Kidzone ministry provides a specialized programme for children up to school Year 8.

Music & Worship
Music has always been an important part of worship at Rutland Street Church. Over the years God has blessed the church with many outstanding musicians. The praise and worship team leads us in worship and helps us to focus us God who is great and awesome. During the Sunday service a number of songs are sung in both contemporary and traditional styles in recognition that we worship as a family of all ages.
The music team uses various instruments such as:
Piano
Keyboard
Drums
Acoustic, electric and bass guitars
Clarinet

The music team is supported by audio visual technicians
You are welcome to join us in our worship during any of our services.
